Jennifer Lopez’s New Album – LOVE? is set to be released on 3rd of May but we have a chance to listen it. So, now we’ll review it track by track.

1. On the Floor (ft. Pitbull)

Rating: 4/5

Review: This song has a heavy synth and is certainly a party track. Being the lead single of the album, it certainly lives up the the expectations to JLo fans who waited so long for this album. Although this song doesn’t have clear structure, it is quite addictive in a good way.

2. Good Hit

Rating: 2/5

Review: This song is quite strange and is quite messy. Although the melody of the chorus is quite good, the song wasn’t produced very well.

3. I’m Into You (ft. Lil Wayne)

Rating: 4/5

Review: This song is the 2nd single from the album and it is as good as the 1st single. JLo repeats ‘I’m into You’ many times in the song but it doesn’t sound boring and repetitive. Taio Cruz, being this song’s writer, has done a really good job here.

4. (What Is) LOVE?

Rating: 4/5

Review: Being one of the album’s promotional single, this song is great. The chorus of the song is slower than the previous songs and is actually a ballad with drums. JLo’s irresistible voice suits this song perfectly.

5. Run the World

Rating: 3/5

Review: This song is overall OK and the chorus is quite good but it is not catchy enough to stay in the listener’s mind like ‘On the Floor’ or ‘I’m into You’.This song is similar quite Rihanna’s slower songs .

6. Papi

Rating: 4.5/5

Review: GREAT SONG! This song is catchy, with great instrumentals and has a dance beat. Although its bass is not as big as ‘On the Floor’, this instrumental behind the whole song is perfect with a Spain twist in it. The melody for both the bridge and the chorus is really great. The 2nd half of the song features JLo speaking a Spanish monologue which makes this song extra hot!

7. Until It Beats No More

Rating: 3.5/5

Review: This song is quite slow and a normal ballad. This song displays JLo’s vocal abilities well and shows her range well as it  has both quite love and quite high notes.

8.One Love

Rating: 3.5/5

Review: I find the similarity of this song with ‘(What is) LOVE?’ as it has similar beats and tempo. Penned by JLo herself, the chorus is a great song in a love album.

9. Invading My Mind

Rating: 4.5/5

Review: Penned by the Queen of Pop Lady Gaga herself, this song has both great lyrics and great melodies. I find this song extremely catchy.

10. Villain

Rating: 1.5/5

Review: I don’t find this song good at all and this is certainly the filler of the album. This verse part is like a cheesy Britney type of song with light vocals. Although it got better in the chorus part, it cannot compensate with the verse disaster.   This song surely sound like a fail Britney Spears song which didn’t make into her album. The deluxe version tracks are way better than this one.

11. Starting Over

Rating: 3/5

Review: This song has medium tempo with some touching lyrics. It is great that JLo integrates dance music and ballads in the album.

12. Hypnotico

Rating: 5/5

Review: Also penned by the Queen of Pop Lady Gaga herself, this song has is extremely extremely catchy. The sick beats at the start, JLo’s sexy voice matched with perfect synth on the verse, a perfect chorus and with a really seductive post-chorus. Even I’m not listening, my brain still echoes this song.

13. Everybody’s Girl

Rating: 5/5

Review: This song has a perfect intro, verse, bridge and chorus. Even the post-chorus is amazing. OMG.

14. Charge Me Up

Rating: 4.5/5

Review: Produced by RedOne like her singles, this is extremely catchy and I can see a Lady Gaga influence in this track. The melody is somehow similar to Gaga’s new song, ‘Judas’.

14. Take Care

Rating: 3.5/5

Review: As one of the ending songs to this album, this song is light and feels like a tea time song.

14. Ven A Bailar (On The Floor Spanish Version ft. Pitbull)

Rating: 4/5 – Same as ‘On the Floor’

Review: JLo really take cares of her Spanish fans by putting this into her album.

Overall, JLo has really put a lot of hard work in this album and it’s quite good.

It is really amazing that Lady Gaga has released 3 singles from her 2nd album, the Fame Monster. The 2nd single is Telephone, Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce, released on 26th,January,2010.  The lyrics portray the singer as preferring the dance floor, rather than answer her lover’s phone calls. It was also added to the setlist of the European leg of The Monster Ball Tour. While the song is fantastic, the music video is also in amazing quality.
